WA:Pilot OK after WA emergency landing

A pilot's walked unharmed from a light plane after it clipped a shed then a fence after
taking off from Geraldton Airport in Western Australia's midwest.

The pilot crash landed in a paddock near the airport around seven o'clock this morning
(WST) .. but police say it isn't known what went wrong.

Geraldton Airport Manager BOB URQUHART says the six-seater Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft
could be a write-off with heavy damage to the wings and nose.
