QLD:Ipswich flood tribute unveiled

A flood marker dubbed "the pillar of courage" has been unveiled in Ipswich today, a
year on from the devastating floods that swallowed vast swathes of the city.

Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD has told a service that the city, west of Brisbane, has
staged a remarkable recovery in the year since the disaster, but the recovery and healing
