About 100 Gypsy Joker bikies have spent a peaceful New Year's Eve in the Victorian
township of Ballarat after travelling by police escort from South Australia.

Police are keen to supervise the journey after a similar club run to Beachport in South
Australia's south-east in 2001, resulted in 11 bikies being charged with bashing three
police officers.
